Welcome back from Easter break. The first unit of PGCERT- Theories, Policies and Practices was challenging, but interesting with Portfolio submissions, the confusing and unreliable Workflow. I got to meet interesting people from different walks of life. IT WAS A JOURNEY!

WELCOME TO INCLUSIVE PRACTICES UNIT OF PGCERT 2022.

I really really worked hard last term to submit all my work on time, my Apple Mac book Pro who is also my partner-in-work for progress on this journey, was happy we sailed together to the Shore. When I crashed for Easter, he crashed also. I called on him after a week, he was dead. Oh dear! I took my beautiful dutiful partner to the Apple Shop at Westfield Stratford for well deserved rest and massage by the specialists Apple Care Services.

DIAGNOSIS – Logic Board breakdown, system Video/Sound/ Video dead. Touch ID system dead, I am sorry my dear dutiful partner I overworked you. He was booked in for emergency surgery, next of kin’s questions asked and answered, like this “are your work and files saved?”

After a week, he came back with loss of memory. I lost almost everything, except what was saved on iCloud. My beautiful baby came back Factory set, so needed to be spoon- fed to stand tall again to the tasks.

Back to work and college, cannot log into my college staff/student email or Canvas. The race with IT begins, confusion, duplication of email accounts, so the system does not recognise Florence Moka or my password.

Over to HR, Jason, fought tooth and nail to restore sanity, by then I have missed the Cross- programme event – Critical Digital Pedagogies, any recording please? I got back my students email account , but could not access where I stand or my coordination. Did I mentioned the struggle to get my blog account working again, that is a story for another day.

Today, Jason and the IT team, have resolved the issue, I am finding my way into IP
